Activity n°1

According to the Animal Planet test my ideal dog is the Golden Retriever and I completely agree! I love Golden Retrievers and I could even say that my dream since I was a little girl is to have one and one of my plans is to have one when I have my house

Activity n°1.2

Vocabulary Activity: These words appear in the dog breed questionnaire above. Look up the meanings AND add 5 more words that you don't know from the same questionnaire.

example: sprinter: (a dog) that can run very fast in short distances (velocista)
  1. jogger (Dog): That can runs at slow pace
  2. breed: It's a tipe of animal
  3. to hunt: That kill for sport or food
  4. watchdog: That it keep vigilant, take care a territory
  5. grooming: About clean an animal or a preparation for something.
 
  1. Dutiful: In this: Case a obedient dog
  2. A couch potato: About (a dog) behaviorally sedentary (A very funny way to say it hahahaha)
  3. Laid-back: A dog very relaxing
  4. Poiting: In animals, show them things by pointing them out
  5. Friendliness: Niceness, warmth (simpatia, amistad)

Activity n°2

  • Show 1: I think one of the programs I would see would be "Extinct or Alive" because it is very interesting to know what happened to the animals that no longer exist or if they really don't exist anymore.
  • Show 2: I think I would like to see "Dr. Jeff" because it is a program that shows the life of a veterinarian of exotic animals, animals that many of us want to dedicate ourselves to.
  • Show 3: Finally, I would see the "Vet Gone Wild" program because it would teach me a lot about animals that would be very difficult to attend as veterinarians in a country like Chile.

What is your opinion about legalization of abortion in the 3 cases? I think that is right, because if she doesn't want to have a baby, nobody can force her to have one, is a decision that only she should make. On the other hand, I think this is very sexist, because many people say that the woman is to blame for getting pregnant, for various reasons: For "dressing very provocatively" For not using birth control pills For getting pregnant knowing that she has a terminal illness etc.  What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana and other drugs? I think that is right, because we have to consider that there are already drugs that are legal, such as cigarettes and alcohol, then Why prohibit another? I have never smoked marijuana or cagarettes and it doesn't attract to me, but I thik it is like a cigarette, nobody is affected by someone else consuming it.  What is your opinion about women in the military? Black Panther: I like the Black Panther. This animal is very misterious, silent and calm, When the panther are hunting, they do it with such elegance that it seems like I'm watching an awesome show. Macaws: I really like birds, parrots, canarys, chicks, ducks, swans, Macaws...  its freedom to go through the air, its singing, its soft feathers, etc. The macaws are a very intelligent, colorful, very social and cheerful birds,  It's an animal that can get used to humans quickly n' the macaws come to believe that they are another humans more. Blue Whale: The blue whale is the largest animal in the world, I really like his magnificent simplicity, his way of swimming, to communicate, to care for their whale calf, everything. On the other hand, it is a very docile animal, which allows the human to caress it and approach it without alterarce, a very calm animal.
